How could i use this tool as a professional educator?
I joined me.edu.au last semester when i found out about it for the first time and have already found that it is an excellent tool to use for easy access to rich resources that are related to my areas of study. I have managed to join quite a few different 'communities' that I am interested in such as Physical Education, Primary Education, Digital Story Telling, Cyber Safety and Podcasting. In joining these communities it allows me to have direct access to resources that are specifically related to that area of interest. I think that I will certainly continue to use this professional networking tool in the future and hope to build a more richly resourceful profile.
How could i use this tool in the Primary Classroom?
This tool would not be appropriate to use with the students in a classroom. However, with relation to the primary classroom it could most certainly be used in a way of finding out about rich resources that could be used within the primary classroom. By joining the primary education community I can find out about new ideas for teaching in the primary classroom and this will certainly be useful in the future.
